IMPLEMENTATION
Can be performed at the same time as your Annual Playground Inspection
PARCS offers clients wood-fiber surfacing installation and maintenance services as a solution for impact absorption and slip resistance. CSA standards require that playground surfacing pass impact velocity testing annually to ensure students and the public are safe should a fall occur. ASTM F1292 establishes the minimum performance requirements of the surface under playground equipment and is part of the overall CSA Z614 procedure.
PARCS utilises a TRIAX 2000 Surface Impact Tester which is the result of over 15 years of research and development. Drop testing measures the impact and depth of your surfacing and provides a numerical rating that indicates a pass or fail. Various factors, such as seasonal changes, usage, and maintenance, significantly impact the effectiveness of your surfacing.
PARCS offers clients wood fibre surfacing installation and maintenance services as a solution for impact absorption and slip resistance.
Drop testing is a critical service we offer that will protect you from liability should a fall occur. The large majority of our clients perform annual drop testing in conjunction with their playground inspections, ensuring each location is safe in the spring and summer months.
PARCS Technicians are qualified to not only inspect but repair all playground surfaces, in accordance with the applicable codes and standards. As is standard with all of our inspections, your inspections will be performed via a wireless tablet and data will be uploaded to a secure Customer Portal for viewing within 24 hours. At this time you will be able to track what work has been performed, what repairs are required, and track all of your equipment information in one secure location.
